It’s that library again …
No not dodgy books suggested by daytime TV, but an excellent guide to bread making called ‘Bread Matters’ by Andrew Whitley.
Not only are there tons of great recipies; I can vouch for about 4 of them so far!!!! but also the difinitive reasons not to buy shop bread, even the ‘baked in store stuff’ is apparently not much good for you. No wonder there is so much yeast and wheat intollerance about.
If ever there was a book to stop one going to work and keeping the library renewals desk happy it is this one. However, a wife with a flair for bread making is always a help. I confess I have only been on the receiving end of the produce as yet.
