Back to the Farm

So my calf muscles were not big enough…

Apparently I did not pass the statutory test of fitness and must return to cycling for one hour each week.

Actually, I am just going back to Amelia Trust Farm for a longer placement! It will mean more in the way of cycling and therefore more fitness, depending on the produce of the new coffee house at the farm though!

One day a week I shall return to ‘building’ with the young disaffected.

Whilst on a whistle stop trip to arrange this I did feel though that life on the farm was either disjointed from reality in Llandaff or that life in Llandaff was disjointed from real life. I’m not sure which yet, if the college was in Splott or Grangetown I’m sure the feeling would be different!

  • Cynical cynic

There was, once upon a time a group of people who went about casting doom and gloom around the place, generally against the establishment of the day, casting aspersions about the state of play. And they were called cynics What has this to do with the reluctant ordinand? Ah, well the cynics all wore open toed sandals, had long hair and went about nomadic like from place to place in scruffy clothes!! remind you of anyone?
